2018 CANNES YOUNG LIONS - GOLD
The sponsor for the 2018 US Cannes Young Lions competition was the Jack and Jill Foundation—a nonprofit that organizes donor-funded getaways for young families facing the imminent loss of parent suffering from late-stage cancer.
To encourage donations, my creative partner Blas Madera and I created a special digital tool on Audible that lets these parents record their children’s favorite stories in their own voices to create a special, private digital library. So kids can always share storytime with Mom or Dad, long after cancer takes them away.
We were awarded first place—and a trip to Cannes—for our entry.
